Re: [13 SB] NINJA Blog, 22 Jul (PDF link updated)
The Minnesota result vs. Michigan actually wasn't/isn't relevant to who won the division and doesn't change anything. Only relevance it would have had was if Minny beat Mich, the win would have had relevance as 2nd or 3rd best win and affects SOS if it came down to that. Everyone's still in it.
Left out the fact that the three way tie scenario is predicated on Georgetown beating Delaware. I've already said in this forum I always leave one important thing out or get something wrong when I try to be Eddie.

Re: [13 SB] NINJA Blog, 22 Jul (PDF link updated)
For the SAS nerds out there:
if Georgetown>Delaware then Minnesota
else if Notre Dame>American then Florida
else if JMU<Georgia then Georgetown
else if Cal wins 3 or 4 of last 4 games then Florida
else Georgetown;

I'm not sure if I can say right now, but know that it went down to (at least) second-best win.

Appropriately, I believe it came down to Georgia screwing us out of a division title. Their win over JMU cemented GTown having second best non-Div win (Navy) over us and Minny.
Congrats, Hoyas. Boooo, Bulldogs.

Yes, their 2nd best win (Navy) was better than Florida's (JMU).

I think in the end the Georgia/JMU game didn't matter. If CatholicU22 is right about you continuing to 3rd best win and 4th best win and beyond, then a JMU win over Georgia would have sent the tiebreaker to 3rd best win. That would be Georgetown over Michigan (7-7) versus Florida over Cal (6-8). So blame Stanford for continuing to always beat Cal on the last day of the season in their rivalry game. A Cal win would have led to a tied 3rd best win.
That would have triggered a tie breaker that would have gone to seventh best win which would have gone to to Florida over South Carolina (3-11) versus Georgetown over Tulane/Boston (2-12).
So blame Stanford!
DISCLAIMER: I may be wrong.
