08 Softball Division Numbers

So, with the divisions now released, I suppose there could be some sort of trash talking to commence (Melissa's 'marks on the division names, notwithstanding - and that, ladies and gentlemen, is bad joke #1 for the season from your friendly neighborhood NINJA)...

Anyway, below is a listing of the winning percentages (win %) of the the teams within each division - they're broken into regular season, tourney, overall. When compiling the numbers, I noticed that Embry-Riddle tripled their win total (1 in the regular season, 2 in the tourney), Indiana doubled (8 and 8), and Syracuse tripled (2, 4). Kudos for turning it on when it counts the most (or for getting rid of those people that suck). emoticon
Fenway Park - .448 / .561 / .476

Yankee Stadium - .446 / .548 / .470
Astrodome - .516 / .514 / .515
Jacobs Field - .548 / .486 / .534
Wrigley Field - .507 / .417 / .489
Camden Yards - .516 / .526 / .518
Candlestick Park - .540 / .455 / .522

Could the Jacobs Field division be the most competitive as they have the highest win percentage in the regular season and oveall? Or is it Candlestick Park with half the division with double digit wins (most in CAN)? Fenway and Camden had the best tourney performances overall with four teams getting four wins in last summer's Primrose Cup (the Yankee Stadium division has MD and Wake skewing the numbers a bit and no one else won more than two in the tourney).

Speaking of the Fenway Park division, should they be split into two? Four teams won 12 or more games; four teams won 5 or less.

On a completely un-realted note, my productivity is going to go down soon... emoticon

Least Runs Allowed, single game: 0 (Maryland, twice)
Largest Margin, single game: 42 (Maryland)

Luckiest Team by Pythagorean Expectation, season: Virginia (.571 vs .397)

Thanks to BUinDC for the correction.

If Maryland scored 45 runs in one game, how is the most runs allowed in a game 42? Am I not reading this right?

Obviously a typo on Ninja's part seeing that the most runs allowed was 42 by Clempson.

And my vote for Division goes to the Candlestick!
