DJ, you can edit your posts, rather than posting twice, you know.

Duh...was a double-click on the submit button with a slowdown on the connection. Can't delete it now, because I'm not a moderator.

Back to softball...

Re: Thursday update

Anybody have the link to the updated standings? I need to figure out which team will have the privilege of being our first round upset.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Navy.

I don't really want to add to your work, but if it's easy...could you do some RPI measure of division strength?

Ninja did something like that here. (Scroll down)

Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it. Quite honestly, we'll have a better all-around team during the first round games.

Thanks for giving me some bulletin board motivaion for them!

I believe Xavier could end up playing any 9-5 or 8-6 team, depending on the lottery:

Michigan St
W&M
Navy
West Virginia
Notre Dame
Virginia
Boston College
Arizona
Texas
Emory
Stanford
North Carolina
Illinois
Indiana
George Mason
Tufts (currently 7-6)

We are definitely all over the place in terms of who we could play, and I don't have the patience to go through and figure out the tie breakers...
